 Michael Elkins is a highly skilled professional dog trainer known for his calm leadership, deep canine knowledge, and results‑driven training approach. As a retired Marine, Michael brings discipline, patience, and a strong work ethic to every dog he works with. His lifelong passion for dogs began long before Anytime Dog Training—he has volunteered at numerous shelters and personally adopted many of his own dogs, giving him hands‑on experience with canine behavior across a wide range of backgrounds and temperaments. Michael completed an intensive six‑month Master Dog Trainer program, totaling 960 hours of hands‑on instruction, written exams, canine psychology, and police/military K‑9 training. This comprehensive education provided advanced skills in basic and advanced obedience, puppy training, tracking and trailing, behavior modification, service dog training, aggression rehabilitation, protection work, and drug and bomb detection. His training also included real‑world scenarios, problem‑solving exercises, and structured evaluations designed to prepare trainers for complex behavioral challenges.
